Our International Ministry Partners - Hogar SapucAy

The SCG Board of Directors is very excited to announce our partnership with Hogar Sapucay! This Christian non-profit day center in Oberá, Argentina serves about 120 street children and children at risk, and is our first international mission support. The SCG family is committed to both consistent monthly financial support of the Hogar and special gifts to bless the children and staff. Ultimately, we look forward to sending 'hands & feet' to serve the children on the ground in Oberá.

Hogar Sapucay is located just on the edge of a slum neighborhood on a large piece of property with a beautiful building, playground, and soccer field. The center provides safety, love, nutritious meals, tutoring, abuse prevention classes, extracurricular activities, and small group bible studies for children who live in the slum neighborhood next door. The center also welcomes these children’s mothers and gives them opportunities to learn basic skills and participate in small group bible studies. The goal of Hogar Sapucay is to see lives transformed by God’s love and truth. There are currently twelve team members on staff and several others who come once a week to volunteer.

Through the generous giving of the Stone Church Gathering family, we are coming alongside the directors and staff at Hogar Sapucay to pursue their dream that the neighborhood where they serve would be transformed by the love of Christ - that it would begin to be a place full of light instead of darkness.
